Seems you can buy anything at a pharmacy these days. But are pharmacists breaking their own code of conduct?
This ‘Checkout’ video released on August 4, satirises the conflict between the professional and commercial roles of pharmacy. In particular, it points out that, while pharmacists are generally highly regarded and trusted, if they continue to sell dodgy weight-loss products, doubtful vitamins, bogus pain relievers and homeopathic products, then they will lose that trust.
(The Checkout is a satirical consumer affairsTV series for the twenty first century. It takes a no-holds-barred, irreverent and entertaining approach to explaining and exposing the ways that all of us are being ripped off.)
